Communicate with children and world through art.

Experience
The United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF) 2009-2011

It is a club at Yongsan International School of Seoul that raises fund through various fundraisings to provide for children in Africa with food, medicine, and mosquito net. I created this club along with 3 other people in 2009, and served as a president in 2010 and an advisor in 2011. Hyun Young Park Art Exhibition 2008-2011

The theme for Hyun Young Park Art exhibitions was Love and Children. I tried to show realistic views of children in difficult conditions through drawings and paintings. I also donated the money collected from the exhibitions to UNICEF Korea. Seoul National Blind School 2008-2011

It is an elementary school for the blind. I served the kids here with food, songs, and various entertainments. Lifeguard Certification First Aid and CPR/AED Volleyball Junior Varsity in 2008 and Varsity in 2009 World Youth Model Congress (WYMC) 2008-2011 2008-2009 2011

It is a high school student-run debating conference targeted at high school students in Korea. Held in close association with University of Pennsylvanias Model Congress, I participated as a delegate in 2008, executive director (runner of the conference) in 2009 and 2010, and an advisor in 2011.

Final Statement
I am very competent in art and presentations. Im also interested in worldly issues, especially concerning children. I desire to pursue art and communications major in college to further my knowledge in that field so that I can bring happiness to unfortunate children variety of artworks using different medias and let people know about them through realistic paintings.
