GP2D03 Paper Size Sensor Overview

This document summarizes the specifications and features of the GP2D03 paper size sensor system. The system uses 2-beam infrared sensors and an E2PROM to detect and store the size of paper passing through. It can accurately detect paper sizes ranging from A3 to B6 with a detection height of 60mm and sliding position tolerance of ±6mm. The sensor outputs data to a microcontroller in 140ms or less and operates from 5V power between 10-60 degrees Celsius. It is designed for use in copiers and printers to automatically detect paper size.

GP2D03

GP2D03
s Features
1. Paper size sensor system 2-beam paper size sensor GP2D03 3pcs. E 2PROM for data storage 1pc. [Serial access type, memory capacity : 128 x 8 bit] ( E 2PROM shall be applied to users'. ) 2. High sensitive detection because of less influence on the color or reflectivity of reflective object thanks to position sensitive detector ( PSD ) 3. 2-beam type ( GP2D03 ) 4. With initial mode in order to make E 2 PROM store thresh level for the existence of reflective object
