Unit 2. Complex Differentiation Class: S. E. Comp
Complex differentiation extends the rules of calculus to functions of a complex variable. It allows us to take derivatives of complex-valued functions and examine rates of change in both the real and imaginary parts. The Cauchy-Riemann equations provide a method to determine whether a complex function is differentiable at a point and are useful in applications such as fluid dynamics and electromagnetism.
