SPEAKING TEST

GUIDELINES
I. PROCEDURES
1. Examiners randomly call each student at a time and call another one
before asking the first one to perform his/ her presentation.
2. The student chooses one topic labeled in number 1, 2, 3, or 4 etc.
3. One student then has five to ten minutes for preparation and rehearsal.
4. Each student presents his or her topic in front of the examiners.
5. Examiners mark the student’s performance when he or she finishes his
or her presentation, and may need to ask some questions related to the
presentation.
6. Examiners ask students to return their card, and sign their names
before leaving the examination room.
7. Student can change the chosen topic, but 1 mark will be subtracted
from the final results of the speaking test.
8. Examiners need to guide students by making some suggestions / clues
if students fail to perform or go off their topic.
