Project Background
Water Waste Detection System (WWDS) is a computer application
that is meant to assist people to control their water usage. It is
aimed to increase the awareness of water conservation. In line
with United Nation’s Millennium Development Goal, WWDS targets
to ensure environmental sustainability.

The project utilize low cost equipment in monitoring water meter


by integrating webcam and a laptop to convert the captured image
of water meter into calculated numbers. System will alert and
report the consumption of water in real time to user.
