analysis, Graphics, Simulations and Custom programming. Stata is easy to use and you can start experiencing
its productivity instantly. Using Stata you can improve your business insight, reign over complex datasets, take
rationale decision and ensure your business growth.

This course is designed for the business analysts, managers and other professionals who need to manage and

Session 2: Investigating and Describing your Business Data Using Stata 10.0
Investigate the size, nature and error in system generated data files;
Managing your data by labelling, sorting, combining and creating new variables;
Understanding summary statistics and summarizing your business data;
Creating dynamic tables to overview relationships and influences on data.

Session 3: Conducting Advanced Analysis on your Business Data


Simple hypothesis testing while making quality claims;
Understanding scope of variable relationships in decision making and using Simple Linear Regression
Analysis;
Taking more complex decision using Multiple Regression Analysis;
Understanding time series and developing models to forecast time series data (e.g., stock price, fuel price
etc)

Session 4: Creating Smart Charts and Presenting your Data Analysis Outputs
Creating simple and complex charts using Stata;
Exporting graphs and outputs to Microsoft Word and converting to Portable Document Files;
Using Microsoft PowerPoint to present your analysis findings;
Printing and sharing your works.
