Channel Coding

Channel coding and multiplexing are used to transmit data on the uplink 64 kbps channel. Data is coded and multiplexed for the dedicated traffic channel (DTCH) and dedicated control channel (DCCH). This allows multiple logical channels to share the same physical channel resources.
