Insights on Language Learning Strategies

The document reflects on a student's first week learning about teaching a second language. The student learned that learning a language requires practice outside the classroom and using the language as part of daily life. They struggled to understand how to upload assignments to Facebook but then figured it out. Going forward, the student believes it is important to focus on language teaching approaches and methods, and to encourage their own students to use English outside lessons and daily practice as much as possible.

REFLECTION

(Week 1)

What I learnt was that learning a second language is a long and complex undertaking so it
mustn’t be limited with the performance in the [Link] must use it out of the [Link] must
be a part of our [Link] practise everywhere and everyday if possible.

What I had difficulty in figuring out was how we will upload our studies on [Link]
steps will be followed? Then I learnt it.

I suppose I need to focus more on the approaches and methods of language teaching
because they are difficult and complex for me.I must study on them.

I believe I may use this information (name what you have learnt) in my teaching …. I
should make English every part of my [Link] shouldn’t be limited with only
[Link] should use it daily life and they should practise as they can do.
