Technology - History and Future
Learning report
Session1- RFID, By Rohit Nalwade on 22nd July 2010
Session2- Robotics, By prof C. Amarnath on 29th July 2010
In Robotics sesssion, we have learnt how the mechatronics(Mechanical + Electronics)
technology has evolved and how it is easing our day to day life.
We learnt how we can leverage this technology for our benefits
Following are the key factors in Robotics technology
Accuracy
Ability to work in
different work
conditions like Efficiency
furnace, mining
activities etc
Robotics
Advantages
Needs only
energy and not Precession
food and water
Continuous
working Speed,
ability without Dexterity
fatigue
In today’s dynamic world , we can use robotics to enjoy all these benefits
Presently, robots are widely used in different sectors as follows
1. Medical field- Robotic surgery
2. Indian Army- To detect underground bombs
*Cost,
Needs to be Technical
expertise to build
reprogrammed Robotics
the robot and
in case of its disadvantages sometimes for its
memory loss use as well
Reduces man power
required in any
application which in
turn promotes
unemployment in
developing country
like India
Session3-Various forms of renewable energy source, By Dr. Omprakash G. Kulkarni on
14th August 2010
Session4- Technology in healthcare, By Dr. Rajendra Patankar
Sesssion5 – Bionics, By 4th September 2010
