Rang De Basanti: A Film Review

Rang De Basanti is a 2006 Indian film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It follows a group of young Indians in Delhi who reconnect with their patriotism upon meeting a British filmmaker making a film on Indian revolutionaries. The film starts with Sue wanting to make a film on Bhagat Singh and getting help from her friend Sonia and Sonia's friends DJ, Karan, Aslam and Sukhi. The first half revolves around making the film but the second half more seriously shows how the friends' thinking changes when they are confronted with modern day issues in India.
