IPAD

The iPad is the first tablet computer made by Apple. The iPad was
introduced on January 27, 2010 and was put on the shelves for sale in late March
2010. The iPad has a flat touch screen on the computer’s face. This tablet computer
is 9.56 inches in height and 7.47 inches in width. The iPad is 0.5 inches thick and
weighs 1.5 pounds with Wi-Fi or 1.6 pounds with Wi-Fi plus the 3G connectivity.
The capacity of the iPad varies in models. The different models include the 16GB,
32GB, 64GB, and with or without 3G connectivity. All models offer Wi-Fi with the
carrier of AT&T. The battery life of the iPad is 10 hours of usage and 1 month on
standby. The cost of the iPad varies with models. The price ranges from $499-$829.
Apple has tried their best to make this iPad with little or no environmental impact.
The iPad is made with Arsenic-free display glass, BFR-free, Mercury-free, LCD
display PVC-free, Recyclable aluminum and glass enclosure. The iPad has many
applications that can help the everyday user. Some of these applications include
Mail, Calendar, Contacts, iTunes, and YouTube. Not only does the iPad help the
everyday user, but it can also help the average business man, accountant, and even
the disabled. The Keynotes application can be used for presentations for business
meetings and the Numbers application can be used for spread sheets for the
accountant. The Accessibility application can help people with disabilities, such as
people with vision impairment, deaf or hard of hearing, or have physical or learning
disabilities.
