ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM

INTRODUCTION,
Changes in environments can be natural, like changing in climate patterns or influenced by
humans, for instance pollution, disposal of nuclear waste, building dams and etc. Some
changes are good and some are bad, and some are neither good nor bad. Today the earth’s
environment is in a sorry state. Wherever one looks, one encounters pollution. Forests are
disappearing. The green patches in the city are being replaced by concrete buildings. Waste
products are being dumped indiscriminately. Water is too toxic to drink. The air is unfit to
breathe. Global warming has become a menacing issue. There is a question mark over the survival
of life on the earth . The human race is at the brink of a self-created disaster. Truly there is a surfeit
of environmental problems today.

MAIN POINT
-Rain forest-Brazil chops down an area of forest the size of Nebraska State, Zaire, Amazon,
-Industrial pollution-cause water pollution by dumping industrial waste into waterways live liver, ocean
-Disposal of nuclear waste-high level-nuclear reactor, nuclear [Link] matelia wasted from
medical procedures like -x-ray,
-changing climate patterns,
-survival of game animals,
-traffic noise and pollution, (water pollution), acidic rain
-building dams
-litter in the streets, cigarette ends, fast food wrappers
-Global warming
-ozone depletion
-Smoke + fog=smog
CONCLUSION

1. Reduce wastage of electricity, fuel and food.


2. Encourage the use of environment friendly and renewable sources of energy like solar energy, wind
energy and tidal energy.
3. Establish sanctuaries for endangered wildlife.
4. Stop exploitation of areas rich in biodiversity.
5. Encourage planting of trees.
6. Reduce usage of plastic since it is not biodegradable.
7. Stop overfishing.
8. Encourage organic agriculture.
9. Polluting industries should be closed.
10. Discourage harmful genetic engineering.
11. Recycle garbage.
12. Aggressive family planning to limit human population.
13. Elect leaders who work for the environment.,
14. Promote the development and use of environment friendly technologies.
