Trigonometric Derivative Rules Guide

This document provides the basic derivative rules for common trigonometric, exponential, and rational functions. It lists the derivatives of x^n, sin(x), cos(x), tan(x), sec(x), cot(x), uv, and u/v, where the derivatives are given in terms of the original functions and their variables.

General trigonometric derivative rules:

                                   d / dx (xn) = n x(n - 1)

                                  d / dx (sin x) = cos x

                                  d / dx (cos x) = - sin x

                                 d / dx (tan x) = sec2 x

                                d / dx (sec x) = sec x tan x

                                d / dx (cot x) = - cosec2x

                               d / dx (uv) = u (dv / dx) + v (du / dx)

                               d / dx (u / v) = (v (du / dx) - u (dv / dx)) / v2
