IBM RAD WORKSHOP
This is to notify that 4th year students (2011 passing out batch) of department CSE, IT & MCA that IBM
RAD workshop is scheduled from 9th November 2010 to 12th November 2010 from 10:00 a.m. at our
campus.
Purpose :
This certification workshop is intended for developers/students/faculty who are already familiar with
Java™ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Web application development, and who wish to understand
the capabilities of IBM Rational Application Developer V7 to help you develop such applications.
Audience :
This workshop is suitable for developers/students/faculty interested in learning IBM Rational
Application Developer V7.
Prerequisites :
Students should have knowledge of the following topics:
• Java programming
• Familiarity with J2EE for Web development (HTML, JSPs, and Servlets)
• Basics of XML
• Experience using relational databases
• The design-implement-test-deploy stages of application development
• Object-oriented design and analysis
Students are advised to contact their respective departments to get detailed
information. Students (who have registered ) are further advised to seriously participate in this
programme and to take the Certification Test thereafter positively, in their own interest, and any
absenteeism shall be viewed very seriously, and may entail a penalty, as per discretion of the
Management. The Institute had suffered a very bad image during the last IBM DB2 Workshop due
to students apathy and this will not be allowed any further and it takes a lot of concerted efforts
to bring such Industry Related workshops to our Institute again, for the benefit of our students.
