7th/8th Grade Novel Reflection Guide

Students are expected to read a minimum of 15 minutes per day from an assigned novel. They must have their novel with them during designated reading times and are encouraged to read whenever they have spare time. Acceptable reading material is limited to novels and similar works; magazines and comics are not permitted. As part of the Reflections assignment, students will present their book to the class, including both an oral presentation and visual display. The presentation should discuss the novel's theme, personal connections, reactions, and literary techniques used by the author without summarizing the plot.
