2010 LEGO Rocket Car Rally


Design Presentation

Each entrant will be required to share their design with a panel of judges. This is to help
them to gather their thoughts regarding the choices they made during the design
process. Please fill out the following form and bring it with you to your judging session.

2. How many LEGOS did you use to complete your design? _____________
3. What is the length of your vehicle? ___________________
4. What is the width of your vehicle? ___________________

At the design presentation be prepared to answer questions such as:

What part of your design do you think will help to keep your vehicle on the ground?

How many designs did you work through before deciding on this one?

What do you think was the most challenging aspect of this process?

What is the most unique feature of your design?

There will be other questions of this nature asked by the panel of judges. Each
presentation session will last no more than five minutes total. Your design will be given
scores based on how well you thought it out, and how well you can present your
process and choices. This will take place prior to the running of your vehicle, so
performance will not play a part in the scoring of this portion of the challenge.

Have fun with your design, be sure it meets all the specs as outlined, be creative and
think about the choices you are making while building your vehicle so that you will be
able to answer questions about it during the design presentation.
