Introduction:

Please take a few minutes and record your definition of


inquiry in your notebook.
Our current elementary science curriculum not only develops
scientific concepts but scientific thinking skills that are
developmentally appropriate. Within this frame students
who study science are taken through a learning process that
provides them with the opportunity to deepen their
understanding of the content and experience the process of
making meaning of their new experiences.
