After taking this online course I did learn a lot of new material based upon Sociology. All
of the assignments that weve done has helped me in some ways. For example, the 168 Hour
Assignment this assignment showed me how to divide my time up equally without having things
bum into each other. For instance, before I would do most of my English homework the night
before it was due, but recently we were assigned to do a eight to ten page paper and since the
beginning I would do a page a day so I wouldnt have everything pile up. Also I have been less
stressed about school work, because I learned how to manage my time. Ive learned different
terms has well such has Symbolic Interactionism and how people develop social interaction
because on how they encounter other people. Another assignment that I found really interesting
was the Video Analysis, here we had to choose a video and analysis the different reactions that
happened throughout the video. I had chose two boys being scolded by their father for playing
with the paint, and I really found it amazing how and why these kids reacted this way. Ever since
the video, I started to analyze people and why they acted the way they did. Was it because they
had interaction with rude people? Did they respond the same way? What cause them to be
shaped like this?
Another thing that helped me is to be organized because we were paired up with different
people from our course and wed have to be able to communicate and keep up with the work. For
example, people were held responsible to certain parts of the homework and turn it in a certain

time. In the past, Ive always had the worst luck with group projects because Id end up doing
everything.
