Text in Shapes Using Adobe Illustrator

To put text into a shape in Adobe Illustrator, first create some text using the text tool. Second, add a shape using the rectangle tool by clicking and dragging to the desired size and shape. Third, select both the text and shape by holding shift and clicking on each. Fourth, go to Object> Envelope Distort> Make With Top Object to wrap the text into the shape.
