Borderlands of Science

1.       What are the Borderlands between Science and Pseudo-science? 

2.       Describe pseudo-science, non-science, and science.

3.       Define fuzzy logic.  Give an example.

 
4.      Select an example (see below).  Show whether by employing Shermer’s
Boundary Detection Kit the example is pseudo-science, non-science, or science.
Examples are UFO’s, Big   Foot, macrobiotics, mega-vitamins, ghosts, and
Bermuda   Triangle.

5.        Rewrite the Remote Vision Procedure to make it scientific.

6.      Compare SETI to UFOology.  Decide where each one resides in the Borderland.
 

7.     Some one claimed to have a piece of the true cross.  How can you either
establish or deny this claim? 

8.       Define the Knowledge Filter.
