EPC 1401

Reflection1:
When I asked my MST about the roles and responsibilities that she
has as a teacher. I found out that they are a lot! That shocked me.
Now I know that teaching is not only to come to class and give a
lesson. Teaching is being a mentor, doctor, psychological, parent,
and lots of other things! And one of the most difficult things to do
as a teacher. Is to let students trust her and be comfortable with
her. Though unfortunately some teachers tend to shout and use
punishments instead of using positive reinforcement if a student
misbehave. I saw such thing in my first week of observation in the
school. I was surprised because I didnt expect that teachers use
punishments much more than using positive reinforcement! I
think that that is extremely bad, because teachers are supposed
to respect their students and be a role model for them not to
punish them without understanding the reason for the
misbehavior.
