1. Do you think the magazine appeals to its


chosen target audience of students age 16+?
Comment on which features of it are appealing
and why.

2. What do you think to the band name “Heaven


and Hell” and do you think I have presented it
well by the colour scheme and the effects I have used on it?

3. If you could change one thing about the magazine, what would it be?

4. What price would you be willing to pay for a music magazine/what price do you
pay for music magazines…Also, why are you willing to pay this price?
(e.g. What features the magazine should have.)

5. Can you easily tell what genre and sub-genre of the magazine is by looking at the
cover?

6. Do the colour schemes used on the front cover connote the genre of the magazine?
(Use the genre you have used in the previous question.) Also, give a reason for your
opinion.

7. What genres of music do you listen to/what kind of music magazines do you buy (if
any)? Does my magazine cover appeal to you?
8. Do you think my main cover image is appropriate, and does it suit the genre of the
magazine?

9. One of the problems I faced when designing the cover, was whether to have a
shadow covering the “HELL” side of the models’ face.

10. Finally, on the same image, do you think the boxes down the left-hand side look
better parallel with one another, or slanted?
