The Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Citizenship Education Fund are inviting the public to a hearing on foreclosure laws being held at Mount Ephriam Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia on March 23, 2010. The hearing titled "Modify Loans - Don't Repossess Homes and Churches" will demand a bank foreclosure moratorium until protections are established for Georgians, including the right to redeem a home, notice and right to cure deficiencies, a judicial hearing, mandatory mediation, protection for tenants, an end to equity stripping and penalties, and an end to junk fees.
