Counselees
Counseling, it is another journey of my life.
When Sir Comia is giving our counselees Im so excited because for the first time
I will be a counselor of lower year. He gave me two counselees and unexpectedly Ryan
Christian Lindog was one of the counselee assign to me. I know him before since I am
in high school because he is my churchmate but now they are not attending.
When I saw Ryan I ask first his number because he has a class. I told him that I
will text him for us to meet but after so many text every day
and miscalls I didnt received any feedback. Every time I
asked him if he has a vacant he always said that he has a
practice for their concert. But because I need to talked to him
to do my narrative report I asked him for just two minutes. So
in our first meeting I just ask him about his studies and the
things that they are practicing. He told me about their lots of
requirements thats why they are so busy now a days.
And in our second meeting I asked about his family, and like the other students
he also said that he dont have any problem regarding his family. His father is an OFW
and his mother is Barangay Health Worker in barangay C. He has one brother wherein
high school and elementary brother. He is the oldest among the three. He also said that
he dont have any problem regarding to his siblings. But he said that his only problem is
his class schedule because her mother did not believe that there is a teacher who will
teach at 6:00 AM. I experienced that also because they do not believe that there is 6:00

AM schedule of class. So I asked him what he
need to do to resolve this problem. He also said
that he understand her mother who wanted to
protect and take care of them. Thats the only
thing that he shared to me but I feel that there are
things that bothered on him maybe he is not
ready to open it because he knows that I know his family.

I wish that my counselee is girl and luckily Sir Comia assign to me one BEED
and she is Vanessa Joy Lunas. First I thought that she
is younger than me but shes not, she is 23 years old
like my eldest sister. I can see my sister on her because
she also stopped schooling after high school. She
decided not to continue in college to work and to
support the needs of his family. Her mother is working in school canteen and her father
dont have permanent work. She is the eldest among 5 siblings. According to her she is
more closed to her mother than to his father because when he is young her father was
always not in their house.
Vanessa Joy is a shy-type person. She is like other counselees that every time
you asked if she has a problem she always said none.
Im so proud to my counselee because although she stopped schooling for a long
period of time she never loses hope that she can
continue her dream to be a teacher. She want to be
an English teacher but according to her there all slot
for secondary education is occupied thats why she
decided to enroll in BEED.
My counselees and I has similarity because we both want that our two siblings
who stopped schooling after high school will also continue in college. My two eldest
sisters didnt continue in college because our family cannot support them financially
thats why Im first in our family who are in college. Of course it is pressure because of
lots of expectation. Like my counselee she also first in the family who enter in college.
Her aunt helping her financial needs.

Counseling to her is a great experience although we are one question one
answer, I really enjoy talking to her. I learned a lot from her experience and pursuing her
dream is so admirable.
