EDA Techniques and Visualizations

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) techniques are used to determine relationships and trends in data sets, identify outliers and influential observations, and quickly describe or summarize data. These techniques include stem-and-leaf displays, which list all observations to convey information like a histogram, and box plots, which show the median, lower and upper quartiles, and maximum and minimum values. An example stem-and-leaf display and box plot are provided to illustrate these EDA techniques.
