A CHAMPIONSHIP THAT, FOLLOWING ITS SUCCESS IN EUROPE, IS ON ITS WAY TO

ITALY. HERE ARE THE RULES AND NEXT SEASONS CALENDAR.

THE IAME STOCK CLASS SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP

In Europe the X30 Challenge is already well known. In France, Germany, Spain and Belgium it
is already one of the Championships of reference. It is now ready to expand its horizons into
Italy. IAME, the kart engine maker, has built these stock class series Championships around the
Parilla X-30 125cc RL-TaG engine. In the new X30 Challenge Italia, which has been set up by
IAME, in coordination with CSAI and in collaboration with Chiesa Corse, DR Racing Kart,
Comer and Tecno (that will assist the drivers during the races), it will be possible to use a chassis
of choice, as long as it is homologated. The 2010 calendar has already been defined and the
categories will be X30 Junior, for those between 12 to 14 years, and X30 Senior (Light and
Heavy) for those over 15 years. There will not be a Championship table, each race will be
independent from the others so as not to penalise those that are not able to make it to all events.
Those who participate in at least one race will be allowed to participate in the National Final.
After that, the attention will move on to the International Final (The Bruno Grana Trophy).
Even the drivers coming from other countries will allowed to race in the X30 Challenge, always,
of course, under the IAME flag.

THE PARILLA X30 ENGINE

The engine is the Parilla X-30 125cc RL-TaG: there are, now approx. 5,000 of these engines in
circulation all over the world, following its launch in 2004. It is a mono cylinder 2 stroke with
engine balance, membrane carburettor, centrifugal clutch and electric starter, maximum revs are
limited to 16.000 RPM. The Parilla X30 engine complete with carburettor, silencer, exhaust,
battery, cables and cooling system weighs in at 22,5 Kg. The engine achieves a maximum power
of approx. 30 hp.
