This project report examines training and development practices and career progression in the insurance sector. It analyzes the T&D programs of four insurance companies: AVIVA, Birla Sunlife Insurance, TATA-AIG, and National Insurance Corporation. The report finds variations in their approaches to T&D and makes suggestions to improve practices. It was conducted under the supervision of Professor Anupriya Singh and submitted by Group 8 on December 8, 2008 to fulfill their final year project requirements.
