Transcript Reflection
I do not believe that my four-year transcripts clearly represent your capabilities. I do not
believe it is so because in my sophomore year I had a bit of a poor transcript. I had a couple bad
grades in a couple of my classes. I know I could have gotten those grades up and gotten better
grades in the few classes that I was struggling but I have a tendency to be extremely lazy and
procrastinate a lot. Honestly if you look up the word procrastination on wikipedia there is a
picture of me.
I would say I am the most proud of my grades that I have received in AP Lit. I have been
able to maintain at least a B average in the class. It is very surprising to me because it is my first
and only AP class. I was very worried that I would not be able to obtain a passing grade in the
class and for me to keep a B average I am very proud of that.
I think the grades I would be most disappointed about would be any of the grades I have
received in any of my history class that I have taken. I would be disappointed because history if
one of my favorite subjects.
If I could go back and redo any of the classes that I have taken throughout my
time here at Merced High I think I would possibly redo or retake Econ and Government. I would
not retake Econ and Government because I did poorly, I actually did fairly well, I would retake
Econ and Government because it has been one of my most favorite classes that I have taken at
Merced HIgh. I had Di Salvo as my teacher and I must say he did a great job of teaching. He
was able to teach everything we needed to know but still keep it fun. I have never learned and
actually retained information so much before.
My record of attendance would send a message that I am a person that involves myself in
a lot of extra curricular activities. If you looked at my attendance record you would see that a
majority of my absences are all verified excused activities, in other words I am only absent from
school when I am at a school sanctioned event.
