Modern Hamlet: A Parody Script

Scene 1
Claudius: Hello Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, have you been watching Hamlet
closely like I have asked?
Rosencrantz: Yes King Claudius. Unfortunately, Hamlet is very good at avoiding
our questions. Although, he does admit that he is feeling out of the ordinary
Claudius: interesting, so he has not spoken of anything that would make him act
like this
Guildenstern: Well, Hamlet has been talking about how you and Gertrude need
to attend the play lately, will you be there?
Claudius: "Oh you know it man"
*daps up Rosencrantz and Guildenstern*
Claudius: " aight famo I'm out of here"
*Claudius leaves room*
*Claudius speaks to polonius*
Polonius: "King Claudius! I'm glad you are here, Hamlet is waiting in the hallway
for Ophelia to arrive. We shall listen in and see if Ophelia is the reason for his
madness"
*Claudius and Polonius hide and listen in on Hamlet*
Hamlet: "To be or not to be, that is the question. Soft you now the fair Ophelia, in
thy orisons. Be all my sins remembered"
Ophelia: "What does that even mean?"
Hamlet:" Listen here woman, you a hoe, get thee to a trap house, repeal the 19th
amendment, and you a hoe!
End of Scene 1
Scene 2
*Hamlet talking to the players*

Hamlet: Play good players pls


Players: K
*Beginning of the play*
*Hamlet walks up to find a seat*
Gertrude: Hamlet, come sit next to yo mama, sugar plum
Hamlet: I see a fine woman over here
*Hamlet sits next to Ophelia*
Hamlet: Can I slide in yo Dms?
Ophelia: No
Hamlet: Dont Care
*Hamlet slides into Dms*
*The play begins*
Hamlet mutters to himself: If she shall break it now
*Hamlet turns to Gertrude*
Hamlet: What do you think of her, mama?
Gertrude: I think shes a snitch and a thottie, boy
*Later during the play, Claudius realizes that its about him*
Claudius: What is this tom foolery??? Big Claudy Out!
*Claudius leaves the play and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern approach
Hamlet*
Rosencrantz: Whaddup Hammy, you need to go talk to yo mama
Hamlet: mhmmmmmmm
*Hamlet leaves to talk to Gertrude*
End of Scene 2
Scene 3
*Hamlet sees Claudius Praying and thinks about killing him*
Hamlets thoughts: That awful man, i shall kill him if i kill him now, hell go to
heaven. I must wait for another time
*Hamlet hesitantly leaves*

Scene 4
Gertrude: Hello Hammypoo
Hamlet: Hello mother, what do you need?

Gertrude: Hamlet, you need to start respecting Claudius because he is your father
now.
Hamlet: Well why did you not respect my father. When he died, it did not take
very long for you to find a new man.
Gertrude: Please dont hurt me
Hamlet: Gertrude, this is just an act, I am not actually mad.
Polonius: ILL SAVE YOU GERTRUDE
*Hamlet stabs Polonius*
Hamlet: NO WITNESSES
*Ghost appears*
Ghost: Chill out bro
Hamlet: Father?
Ghost: Yes Hamlet, its me. I am here to say that you should not be mad at
Gertrude, but instead, be mad at Claudius.
Hamlet: Youre right, goodbye daddy.
*Ghost fades away*
Gertrude: What was that?
Hamlet: You didn't see that? That was my father, your sugar daddy. He told me
that Claudius is the killer and if you tell anyone about my plan well squad up
real quick.
*Drags Polonius out of the room*
