Who would the

audience be for your


media product?

From my research I found that both genders like rock music and
that it was quite an even number between males and females.
This meant that my magazine would be targeted to both males
and females. New rock music such as BMTH and You Me At Six
main age is old teens and young adults. I decided that my
magazine would be targeted to people aged 16 to 20 years old.
This gives me a four year age range both males and females.
The magazines genre was rock and the main ethnic group that
listen to rock music is white people. Because my target
audience is quite young I will aim to use a price range which is
quite low between 2-2.50. This would mean my target
audience would be middle class people that have some
disposable income.
That gives me a target audience of both genres, aged 16-20 that
are white British and middle class.
