1. Login as soladm user and set environmental variables SECUDIR and SNC_LIB for SAP router. 2. Navigate to /usr/sap/saprouter directory and start the router using the saprouter command with specified parameters. 3. Test the router status by pinging the host from another terminal using the niping command.

SAP ROUTER

START STEPS:

1. Login as soladm
2. Set the environmental variable as below
setenv SECUDIR /usr/sap/saprouter
setenv SNC_LIB /usr/sap/saprouter/linux-x86_64-glibc2.3/[Link]
3. Go to the below path
/usr/sap/saprouter
4.

Execute the below command to start the router


saprouter -r V 2 K p:CN=solman, OU=0001236111, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE
The output will be similar to this

Dont close this terminal


5. Test the router status by opening another terminal and login as soladm and execute the below
command
niping c H /H/solman/H/[Link]/H/[Link]
Output will be like below

To stop the router:


1. Login as soladm
2. Go to the below path
/usr/sap/saprouter
3. Execute the command below,
saprouter -s
