The Legend of Safiya: A Goddess's Tale

Isis, the goddess of magic, fell in love with a mortal man named Hasani and had a daughter named Safiya. However, Set the god of chaos, who opposed relationships between gods and mortals, discovered this and sent his shadow army to kill Hasani. In order to protect her daughter from Set, Isis instructed Bastet to deliver Safiya to her mortal uncle Asim, where she would be raised, unaware of her divine heritage.

Safiya Script

Many years ago when pharaohs ruled and gods prevailed, Set the God of chaos
and his shadow army inflicted terror and fear amongst the people of Egypt.
During this time the goddess Isis, a young widower and protector of children and
idol of magic, fell in love with a mortal man named Hasani. Knowing this romance
would be frowned upon by her fellow deity the two kept their love a secret and
Isis soon fell pregnant, giving birth to a beautiful baby girl whom the two named
Safiya. However this happiness would not last for you see Set, found out about
the child, and sent his army to destroy the family, killing Hasani. Isis tried to
conceal the child from Set who he believed the infant to be an abomination,
mocking the gods and undermining their power over man therefore, he ordered a
man hunt to find and destroy the family. With Seths army growing ever nearer,
Isis, unable to defeat the forces of darkness, instructed Bastet to take the child
and deliver her to Asim, her mortal Uncle where she was to be raised unaware of
her godly heritage.
