An Orwellian prophecy has come manifest,


In the language of mobile phone text,
A complacent waste of language to express,
Never ceases to perplex me,
I can see how wrong so wrong,
Is consumer society,
Why’s there no literature advised on TV,
I listened to Mozart as a drum & bass MC,
Exercise your cultural diversity,
With personally elevated and cultivated vocabulary,
Use imagination ever more liberally,
After all it's a limitless capacity,
It's a gross waste of conscious matter,
To not cherish science and creativity.
