VISUAL LANGUAGE

The visual language takes us to the understanding of forms


and shapes through the use of graphic symbols to create an
emotion or an idea in the mind of who visualizes the
subject.
Visual language is a way of communication that uses visual elements as
opposite to formal writing to convey meaning or idea. Graphically, the ability
to communicate visually, is considered as important
as literacy and numeracy, the abilities to read and count. Some people are
visual thinkers, literally thinking in pictures, using that part of the brain that is
emotional and creative to process and give meaning to information. Visual
communication can find expression in paintings, drawings, symbols, or
simply lines and shapes arranged for a specific effect
When the artist makes a visual composition, hes
structuring his feelings and thoughts of his art work. The
visual language is seem for some art scholars, necessary
for training persons in the cultural field.
ELEMENTS OF VISUAL LANGUAGE
The point is the beginning of all; the graphic point is the
basis for the visual language. Means the existence of
something on the anything. Its considerate the start of a
work.
The line is formed by a sequence of small points, can be
straight or curve. The curve line can express suavity,
gradation, flexibility and its usual on nature.
