Packing Rings Filling Instructions

There are instructions for filling packing rings of different sizes into tanks and towers. The large rings should be split into three parts and filled into the desulphurization towers and condensation tank. Small rings are first filled into the condensation tank until they reach 1 meter in height combined with the large rings. Remaining small rings are split into two parts for the desulphurization towers. Manholes are closed once filling is completed. Packing rings made of PVC should not be exposed to sun for long to prevent degradation.

Instructions for filling of packing rings in system:

There are two sizes of packing rings (big and small) and it
has to be separated out first. Please remove the bags holding
the packing rings when filling the tanks up.
a. plit the big packing rings into three e!ual parts and
fill onto the internal grid platforms of desulphurization
towers (" #) and condensation tank. $evel it out after
filling.
b. %e"t& fill in the small packing rings into the
condensation tank first until the combined height of
both large and small rings is ' meter. $evel it out after
filling to estimate.
c. (ith the remaining small packing rings& split it e!ually
into two parts and fill it into the two desulphurization
towers. $evel it out after filling.
d. )lose the manholes and the filling is completed.
%ote: The packing rings are made of P*) and should
not be placed under the sun for too long or else it will
degenerate and lose its functions.
