 A brief or condensed statement giving


a general view of some subject.
Advantages of Synopsis

1. A condensed view of the material


2. Easily readable by the managers
3. Culled down information as a gist for
the original dissertation

Disadvantages

 It is not a replacement for the original


dissertation

 It gives only abstract information


 Cannot give a complete picture for the


research work undertaken
