Senior Project Proposal
Statement of Interest
I am interested in completing this senior project because I would like
to graduate. My motivation for taking my project specifically is that I do not
want children who are abused to feel as though they are alone or do not
have a voice.
Topic and Essential Question
Child Abuse
How can communities and adults effectively prevent or intervene on
behalf of children they suspect are being abused by their parents?
Project Overview
Research Paper- gives thorough information about my topic and will
answer my essential and driving questions.
Actionable Change Product - Open Mic session for students who may
have experience and never really have a voice to say anything. Also
for them to hear what child abuse really is.
Technology Product - My Prezi consisting all important information,
pictures, statistics, and videos about my topic.
Presentation
Multi-faceted Approach
I will include plenty of information to keep my audience up to date and
aware. I will work with various people to help me with my topic. I will use
technology by adding videos and information to keep the audience
interested.
Actionable Change Product
My actionable change product will consist of holding sessions for the
younger grades. It gives the students a chance to talk about a situation in
their life where they feel as though they were abused.

people who were abused or even other peoples opinions on child abuse.
