PART 2: SUMMARY OF THE TABLE


The table below demonstrates the percentage share of Pakistans major import markets between the years 2007-08
and 2012-13. Pakistans primary import partners comprise Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, U.S.A, Japan, Germany and U.K.
Saudi Arabia had the largest share in Pakistans imports in 2007-08. The shares of U.S.A, U.K, Germany, Japan and
Saudi Arabia have dropped from 6.1, 1.9, 3.2, 4.6, 7.5 and 13.4 to 3.6, 1.7, 2.5, 4.4 and 7.7 respectively between 200708 and 2012-13 while the share of Kuwait has improved by 1.2 percent in 2012-13. Their average percentage shares
are 4.4, 1.7, 2.89, 4.23, 7.89 and 10.89 respectively.
