Research Objectives 1. To assess the recent trends in recruitment in the electronics industry. 2. To compare and contrast the HR functions in MNCs and Indian companies. 3. To compare and contrast the recruitment process of private and public sector companies.

4. To determine the important aspects of recruitment in Fujitsu. 5. To equate the recruitment process of ECIL with that of BEL.

We are trying to do a comparative analysis of the recruitment and selection process in three electronic companies. It involves description of the characteristics associated with this process. >>Reasoning: - Inductive We are using inductive reasoning because inquiry is specific to general. Conclusion will be drawn from one or more facts or evidence. >>Technique: - Qualitative and Quantitative Qualitative technique to provide insights into the setting of the HR function, generating ideas for later quantitative research. Quantitative research to quantify the problem and understand how prevalent it is by looking for projectable results. >>Method: For Secondary data: Website, company journals and annual reports For Primary data: Telephonic interviews, Instant messaging
