Composition 2012 Program Notes
You are required to present for your end of year composition presentation concise* printed program notes that inform the audience of: the order of pieces to be presented (titles & movements) Information relating to each piece (style, type of composition, interesting information relating to the work such as particular techniques you have employed, musical intentions, influences etc.) Length (there should be four complete works of approximately 8 to 10 mins) *program shouldnt take longer to read than the actual presentation itself! Other considerations: Performance information if any live performance (who is performing, venue, occasion, date, time etc.) Acknowledgements (other performers, audio technicians, thankyous etc.) Layout/presentation (visual appeal, size and type of font, paper size)
