Hail Ceres, Bountiful Lady, She who turns the Wheel, She who holds the Mysteries, And

makes the barren Yield prosperous harvest Lend us your an!ient wisdom, "h #mpress of terrestrial wealth, And $uide us in this sa!red rite We honor and invoke you% Hail and wel!ome% &istrau$ht by the absen!e of her dau$hter who never strayed, Ceres !ombed the #arth to sear!h for her She would $o from be$$ar, to kin$, to farmer, to 'od and even to the !hildren to ask for word of her radiant !hild, but to no avail She !ontinued to sear!h and to hope that she would find her dau$hter, even if that meant forsakin$ her duties as a 'oddess and allowin$ the #arth to $o barren She !ontinued to look and wait knowin$ that word would !ome of her !hild (o this harvest Ceres brin$s the $ift of perseveran!e, in hopes that we may never )uit lookin$ for our hearts desire
