RISK MANAGEMENT
Target Group: Duration: Course Overview: Supervisors, Safety Personnel and Engineers 3 hrs x 2 days (6 hrs) Risk management is a process by which the management assesses the risks, determines the control measures, and takes appropriate actions to reduce such risks. It is a cornerstone to prevent deaths, injuries and ill health at work. All workplaces need to conduct risk assessments to help identify the source of risks, actions that should be taken, and parties responsible for doing so. At the end of this course, participants will be able to: Understand Risks Management Conduct Risks Assessment Prepare Risks Assessment reports Prepare Safe Work Procedures Implement risks controls Trainer conducts classroom session, discussions, cases and practice sessions. Participants will be given a Risk Assessor Certificate and can assume the role of Risk Assessment Team Leader / Member for the project. TPCIL will only accept Risk Assessment conducted with the involvement of a Certified Risk Assessor. This is to ensure the preparation of Risk Assessment is of the correct format and information for review by TPCIL HSE Department.
