Insights from My ENGL-108 Experience

The student learned several important lessons in their ENGL-108 class. They learned how to construct and develop essays through numerous writing assignments. The student discovered that writing is an art form that, when done properly, can leave a lasting impact. When crafting a thesis statement, it needs to be broad enough for examples to be provided. The student recognizes they need to work on taking better notes, brainstorming ideas, and meeting word count requirements. While writing is not their favorite activity, they acknowledge its importance. The goal is to further develop their writing skills so it does not feel like a chore.
