'rocess 'aper We chose to create a website because of the medium's useful ability to combine and display informative visuals and descriptive text to prove one or more points. We decided to discuss the conflicts of gun control due to its controversial prevalence in today's America and its uncanny likeness to this year's National History Day topic !ights and !esponsibilities. We also felt an attraction to gun control because of our many personal debates of the sub"ect. After deciding our topic and means of expressing it# we split the group of five into two groups# each of which would argue their personal beliefs on the sub"ect of gun control through the two main pages of the website $Arguments in the Affirmative#$ and $Arguments in the Negative.$ %n addition# we selected the most unbiased individual of the group to provide an ob"ective viewpoint of the topic# which is represented through the $&b"ective History$ pages of the website. &nce the two sides finished their sections of the website# each side scrutini'ed the opposite side's work# providing constructive criticism throughout the websites entirety. (inally# after all of the research# interpretation# criticism# and reconstruction# we changed the format of each page as to remain consistent throughout the website.
