Cicero's Role in Preserving the Republic

Tanner Hermanson chose to do his history day project on Marcus Tullius Cicero and how he helped preserve the Roman Republic. He researched primarily online sources and some books to learn about Cicero and the Republic. He organized his research into a website to educate viewers in an easy to understand format. Through the process, Tanner improved his research and organization skills. He learned that Cicero actively supported the Republic to protect citizens' rights and prevent any one person from gaining too much power, keeping it with the people instead.
