Tell me about your background. Tell me about your education, experience, and qualifications that relate to this job. Why would you like this job? Why did you decide on a career in education? What do you know about our center/school? What is the most satisfying part of teaching to you? What is the most challenging part of teaching? What is the most important contribution you can make to children? How do you encourage children to learn? How do you establish discipline in your classroom? What do you do when you have a discipline problem in your classroom? What is an appropriate way to share difficult information with a parent? What other jobs have you held? Why did you leave them? What was your worst experience in child care and how did you resolve it? Have you ever had to handle a crying baby? What did you do? What role should outdoor play and interaction with other infants/toddlers/preschoolers have in a childs day? What would you do to improve communication between teachers and children? Teachers and parents? Teachers and management? How can you help our center grow? How do you deal with stress? How do you plan lessons?
