For less than the price of a personal tutor, I'll provide a .pdf containing worked out solutions with full, detailed explanations to any math problems you're having difficulty with. I'm a former math PhD student with years of experience tutoring, grading, and teaching math at both the high school and college levels, and will help you with your homework issues for any math class from High School up through Calculus II. Select from one of our three levels of service: *See pages 3-10 below for examples of all 3 options for a sample problem set*

Option 1
Complete solutions with descriptive commentary detailing the reasoning and thinking behind each step If any step is still unclear after reading, just ask for further clarification and I can either improve the provided solutions, or we can discuss it over email (no skype, sorry) Price: 1-4 problems: $5 each 5-10 problems: $25 >10 problems: $25 + $2.50 for each additional over 10

Option 2
Complete solutions worked out at approximately the level expected by a typical teacher for a typical homework assignment If you just want something you can copy and hand in, this is it Price: 1-4 problems: $3 each 5-20 problems: $15 >20 problems: $15 + $0.75 for each additional over 20

Option 3
Answers only Choose this if you want an answer key to use to double check your own work Price: 1-4 problems: $2 each 5-20 problems: $10 >20 problems: $10 + $0.50 for each additional over 20

Payment methods: Paypal preferred. Amazon gift cards also accepted. INSTRUCTIONS: To order, make a scanned copy of your assignment and send it as an email attachment to MathHelp84@[Link], along with a list of the problems you'd like to see worked out and any other special instructions. Once I've received the order and confirmed that I can have it finished by the agreed-upon deadline, Ill send a Paypal invoice and a .pdf will be sent to you once your order is completed.

Under normal circumstances all jobs received and acknowledged by midnight ET will be completed and in your inbox by 6 AM the next morning, small jobs usually much faster. If you need a quicker deadline, tell me and I'll let you know if I can meet it. If I wont be able to meet the expected delivery time, I'll let you know before you pay.

SAMPLES
Below are samples of what you can expect to receive for each of our 3 service levels, based on the following hypothetical submitted problem set.

Option 1: Full answers with explanations 1

Rewrite the problem: 3 3 2x 9 Begin isolating x by subtracting 3 and simplifying to leave only the 2x term in the middle: 3 3 3 2x 3 9 3 6 2x 6 Divide by 2 to leave only x in the middle, remembering to reverse the inequalities since were dividing by a negative number: 2x 6 6 2 2 2 3 x 3 Rearrange the inequality so the smallest quantity is on the left: 3 x 3 The interval is [3, 3], with square brackets on each side since the endpoints are included. The graph is this:

20

Begin by solving the rst equation for y: 3x + 11y = 4 11y = 4 3xy = 4 3 x 11 11

Now substitute this expression for y into the second equation and collect terms: 2x 5y = 9 4 3 x =9 11 11 20 15 + x=9 2x 11 11 7 20 x =9 11 11 2x 5

Now we can solve this equation and nd the value of x: 7 20 20 20 x + =9+ 11 11 11 11 7 119 x= 11 11 7 119 11 x = 11 11 11 7x = 119 7x 119 = 7 7 x = 17 Finally, substitute the value of x we just found into the expression we found above for y and simplify to nd the value of y: 3 4 x 11 11 3 4 (17) y= 11 11 y=5 y= To check this answer, substitute the values x = 17 and y = 5 into the left sides of both of the two original equations and verify that they equal the right sides. 3(17) + 11(5) = 51 + 55 = 4 2(17) 5(5) = 34 25 = 9

24

First we need to dierentiate both sides with respect to x. d d (3xy + 7)2 = 6y dx dx

The derivative on the right is 6dy/dx, using the constant rule. On the left side, use the chain rule. The expression (3xy + 7)2 can be written u2 with u = 3xy + 7, and using the power rule its derivative is 2u du . The dx
dy derivative du/dx of u = 3xy + 7 is 3 1 y + x dx + 0, using the product rule on the 3xy term. Substituting these results into the derivative 2u du of the original equation gives dx

2(3xy + 7) 3 1 y + x

dy dx

+0 =6

dy dx

Now we can simplify and solve for dy/dx 2(3xy + 7) 3y + 3x dy dx =6 dy dx dy dx =6

dy dx dy dy 2(3xy + 7)(3y) = 6 2(3xy + 7) 3x dx dx dy 6y(3xy + 7) = [6 2(3xy + 7)(3x)] dx dy 6y(3xy + 7) = 6[1 x(3xy + 7)] dx dy 6y(3xy + 7) y(3xy + 7) = = dx 6[1 x(3xy + 7)] 1 x(3xy + 7) 2(3xy + 7)(3y) + 2(3xy + 7) 3x

46

The expression (x + 2)3 3 is similar to x3 , so we begin with the graph of y = x3 .

To transform x3 into (x + 2)3 3, start by replacing x with x + 2. This shifts the graph 2 units to the left.

Finally, change (x + 2)3 to (x + 2)3 3 by subtracting 3. This shifts the graph downward 3 units.

Since the expression (x + 2)3 3 is dened for any value of x, the domain is (, ). Also, the graph hits every y value for some value of x, so the range is also (, ).
