CATT Computer Aided Test Tool

Transaction Code: SCAT Create Test Case Test Case description

Press TCD and enter the IMG Transaction

Click the arrow (Record) button to proceed with recording. Upon saving, the record window will pop-up. Click End Recording button to stop.

Save the test case (as Local Object if not to be transported)

Change Test Case Click the pencil button on the initial SCAT screen to change the Test Case

Click Choose (F2)

Double click on the Request Screen (first row) to change the parameters/defaults. Click Insert Import Parameter button (F6) to define a field as a parameter.

Click Back and Save. Create the Upload File Goto Variants Export to save the test case as text file

Open the file using Microsoft Excel, input the data and save it as text (tab delimited) again.

Execution Click Execute button (F8)

Choose Background as Processing Mode Choose External From File as Variants Click Choose to locate the upload file Click the Execute button (F8) to execute CATT in your current client or Click Remote Execution to execute CATT in other system/client.

Press F4 to choose the RFC target system and then log on to the system.
