Worst app
I hate this app. First of all it is forcing me to download messenger. I mean why do you want me to download it. I am not interested in that and I am giving my personal info for no reason. The actual Facebook app at first was good where you can chat from the app itself. The app crashes often if I refresh my page often and trying to talk with multiple people at once. The Facebook developer something needs to be done big time.
Facebook is having too many problems. Starting with notifications all the way to the chat lists. In the Facebook app you can't see if someone tags you in something or you don't get notified unless you actually open the application.
Even thou all your settings are ON for notifications in app and also iPhone 6s Plus settings, it still creates a problem. When you open Facebook you are suppose to see list of friends who are online and you can click on them and you can watch and chat them in messenger. It doesn't even show up anymore. I don't know why and how.
Facebook messenger is the same thing it doesn't provide any notifications if someone messages, even if all the notifications and alerts are turned on. This is not good. You people are trying to make the application better but in turn you are making it more worse. Please help and fix this situation.
Don't like to be forced to use this app
If it isn't because Facebook forces me to use it outside of Facebook I wouldn't have used it. With that said, I do not understand why it is necessary for the app to remind me to turn on notification (that exclamation mark is not necessary). It's actually an annoying system because if I turn on notification then I have to go to every chat to turn off if only wanted to be notified of specific chats. And I hate how I have to manually turn off the sound.
Fix your app messenger 🙄
Instead of adding ridiculous updates and making the emojis that you send look weird why don't you fix the actual problem here. I am not getting my notifications when I am texted and when I receive texts it shows up on my screen and then disappears. This is horrible because I never keep my ringer on so when I am not paying attention to my phone or not on it I am not able to read or know that I receive the messages.
