📘 Past Simple (простое прошедшее время)

1 Что такое Past Simple

Past Simple — это время английского языка, которое используется для описания действий и
событий, произошедших в прошлом и полностью завершённых к настоящему моменту.
Важно: действие не связано с настоящим, важен сам факт того, что оно произошло.

To be – быть
am, is, are – теперешнего времени.
Was, were – прошедшее времени.
I, he, she, it – was – я был, он был, она была, оно было.
You, we, they – were – Ты/вы был/были, ми были, они были.

2. Регулярные глаголы (–ed)

Большинство глаголов → просто добавляем -ed

3 Основные случаи употребления Past Simple

🔹 1. Однократное действие в прошлом
Используется, когда говорим о конкретном действии, которое произошло один раз в
прошлом.
Применяется, когда важно:
 что именно было сделано;
 факт выполнения действия.

2. I checked the order.
3. I confirmed the address.
4. I asked for confirmation.
5. I fixed the issue(айшью).
6. I used the app.
7. I followed the instructions.
8. I arrived late.
9. I refueled the car.
10. I updated the system.

🔹 2. Завершённое действие в определённый момент прошлого

Используется, если известно или подразумевается время, когда произошло действие.
Даже если точное время не указано, оно понятно из контекста.
 1. I reported the issue yesterday.
2. I checked the details earlier.
3. I confirmed the order this morning.
4. I asked about the address last night.
5. I fixed the problem yesterday evening.
6. I used the system earlier today.
7. I followed the route last time.
8. I arrived on time yesterday.
9. I refueled the car before the shift.
10. I updated the information an hour ago.

🔹 3. Последовательность действий в прошлом

Используется для описания нескольких действий, которые происходили одно за другим.
Часто встречается в:
 отчётах,
 описании процессов,
 рассказе о том, что происходило шаг за шагом.

🔹 4. Действие, которое длилось в прошлом, но закончилось
Past Simple может описывать действие, которое:
 продолжалось некоторое время в прошлом,
 но полностью закончилось и не продолжается сейчас.
Обычно используется с указанием периода времени.

🔹 Задание 2. Сделайте отрицательные предложения

did not (didn’t) + глагол (V1)

❗ оба глагола после and тоже остаются в начальной форме.
👉 Преобразуй предложения в отрицательные (negative sentences).

Was / were — это формы глагола to be в Past Simple (прошедшее время).

Переводиться как был/была/было/были.
